After the initial success of the DG-300 I wanted to expand the options and create a guitar that combined the features of the D hole model (traditionally a 12 Fret to the body) and the oval hole model (14 frets to the body) and this model became the DG-320 released in 2006. Marrying the large D hole with a 14 Fret to the body and longer scale created a guitar that had more cutting power than a standard D hole model and more fullness than a standard oval hole model. This would be idea for the played who would find themselves playing rhythm and lead in equal amounts, or a player that wanted a slightly rounder tone than a normal 14 Fret gypsy guitar. This guitar featured the same cosmetic appointments as the DG-300.
