My first Fret King signature model came about from a very long friendship with iconic designer Trevor Wilkinson. I’d used his hardware products over the years and was often amazed that he’d designed things already that I’d had in my mind for years!
He had the idea to marry a Tele with a Gretsch Roc Jet and use the “green on green” color scheme of a Gretsch Anniversary model. I’d always been curious about having a chambered Tele, and Trevor knew of my interest in “ghost coils” to create humbucking function with single coil tone, so these ideas were married and the model was born. You can see all the specifications in the descriptions below, but suffice to say a very cool sounding and looking guitar came from our long friendship!
